We are honored to say that the members will be traveling to Tanzania in exactly one week! We will be leaving to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on March 20th and will be staying for about two and a half weeks. There, we plan to research the selected village and work with the community, The TAEEs, Al-Muntazir School and WAMA Foundation to promote awareness of the concerning issue regarding waste management and to, together, devise an appropriate and sustainable waste management solution.

However, we have yet to raise the sufficient amount of funds necessary for the first component of the project strategic plan: the research and assessment of the waste situation of the selected village. This will be achieved through data collection, analysis, reporting and reviewing, and will allow us to have a better understanding of what we’re dealing with in. Furthermore, the research will enable us to gain hard data on the situation, and thus to determine the most appropriate waste management solution for the particular Tanzanian village. Also, with this information and research, we will be better prepared to help the community understand what they are facing.

Researching the village is one of the most essential components for the project, and we are working very hard to try to raise the necessary funds. However, we can't do this alone, and we need your help. Any donation to the project would bring us a substantial step closer to reaching our goal and achieving our immense but possible endeavor.
